Flowers lure bees with their nectar. As bees move between flowers gathering this nectar, they also pollinate plants to produce fruit, vegetables and, eventually, new flowers. Beautiful flowers, sweet honey, fresh fruit and vegetables all help support human life. Yet the behavior of humans within this ecosystem is creating a harsh environment for bees to endure. More than just a symbol of beauty, flowers provide important nutrients for bees, which enable flowers to reproduce. Looking beyond our own points of view, we need to open up our imaginations to see the world from other perspectives.
